Diploma thesis named „Adaptation of a corporate strategy and transformation of commercial activities” is focused on a manufacturing company – printing house. The thesis discusses theoretically as well as practically corporate strategies with an accent on formulation of a business strategy. The theoretical part focuses on a general description of procedures and methods used to create a corporate strategy. The practical part focuses on a company called PRINTING HOUSE (in order to protect business data of the company, it is not specified further and is called the PRINTING HOUSE in the practical part of the thesis), where business and strategic analyses were performed. The outcome of assessments and analyses outline potential investment projects, transformations and also presents a feasibility of acquisition of new business opportunities.

The Proposal of Business Plan for Development of the Company

The purpose of this work is to create a proposal for the development of the small company named GARANT TRADING s. r. o., which sells welding, cleaning and gardening techniques and organize professional welding courses. The work is divided into the business plan for an existing company, especially for the development of welding schools in the legal form of a business limited company, and is based on their precedence, weaknesses and needs. The analysis was based on data sourced from financial statements and discussions with management. A currently considered opportunity is a purchase or rent of a welding hall in Olomouc. Detailed description of the process and proposal of a successful realization of this project is presented in this work.

Marketing Strategy of the Selected Company

The purpose of the master's thesis "Marketing Strategy of the Selected Company" is to propose a marketing strategy for a selected IT company. The theoretical part deals with small and medium companies, their definition and limitations, as well as strategic analysis, marketing strategy and marketing research. The analytical part provides an analysis of the selected company, which is focused on external and internal environment of the selected IT company. Based on this analysis a SWOT analysis is performed. Then quantitative research is performed and afterwards a specific marketing strategy is proposed based on the analytical part and quantitative research. At the end of the work, the contribution of the proposals is evaluated.
